About Us

Eversley Training is a business that assists the food trade in complying with the supervision and food safety training requirements set out in the Food Acts.

  • Most businesses need to train staff quickly and cannot wait or afford Local Authority-run courses even if they are available. As our food hygiene courses are web-based and delivered online, these problems are easily overcome.
  • Training can be achieved during the staff's first few days of employment or as part of an ongoing food safety training programme for more experienced food handlers. Staff can undergo this training at work or at home in their own time.

  • Founded in 2003 by Kevin James, a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner, our business is committed to providing accessible, cost-effective food safety training. With over 30 years of experience in the food industry, Kevin initially worked in Quality Control for a major supermarket before serving as Chief Environmental Health Officer and Director of Environmental Health at Kennet District Council. Recognising the need for practical, flexible training solutions for food businesses, he established our company to meet this demand.
  • Kevin’s wife, Helen, also played a valuable and crucial role in developing and running the family business. Her dedication and expertise were instrumental in shaping the business into what it is today.
  • Now, Kevin’s legacy is proudly carried forward by his son, Owen James M.R.S.P.H., and his wife Michelle. Owen is a member of the Royal Society for Public Health who has been actively involved since 2013 and has 11 years of experience within the food hygiene training industry. Together, we remain dedicated to delivering trusted, accredited training that supports food industry professionals across the UK.
