Our History
A Tribute to Kevin James
Founded as a sole trader in 2002 by Kevin James, a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner, our business is committed to providing accessible, cost-effective food safety training.
With over 53 years of experience in the food industry, Kevin initially worked as a food hygiene technical assistant, before serving as Chief Environmental Health Officer and Director of Environmental Health at Kennet District Council.
Recognising the need for practical, flexible training solutions for food businesses, he established our company to meet this demand. Kevin’s wife, Helen, also played a valuable and crucial role in developing and running the family business. Her dedication and expertise were instrumental in shaping the business into what it is today.
Now, Kevin’s legacy is proudly carried forward by his son, Owen, and his wife, Michelle. Owen is a member of the Royal Society for Public Health and has been actively involved since 2013, with 11 years of experience within the food hygiene training industry. Together, we remain dedicated to delivering trusted, accredited training that supports food industry professionals across the UK.
